Public Note is a semi-academic platform by young researchers, and for young researchers within the social sciences. Excellent master- and PhD-students can publish their articles in this journal.
Public note publishes peer-viewed articles (Science notes) and creative pieces (Public notes). This way we bridge the gap between the knowledge of students, practitioners in public affairs and academics. With this platform, students are able to gain experience with publishing academic articles, pitching their results and participating in knowledge events. |
Why? |
Every year, students graduate after researching and challenging socio-political issues throughout their studies. Unfortunately this knowledge often ‘disappears’ in the archive of their universities. Public Note believes that this research can be of great value in practice and for the development of social science. There should be a place where research results, written and found by students, can be read by a larger audience. Public note aims to become the platform where students are able to achieve this.
